Welcome to the $00 DAO proposal submission process! Here’s how you can submit and advance proposals to Snapshot for voting.

Steps to Submit a ZIP Draft

  1. Who Can Submit:
    • Anyone: Any community member can submit a proposal to Discourse for discussion.
    • Direct Submission: $00 council members and $00 foundation board can directly submit proposals to Snapshot without gathering votes.
  2. Submission Requirements:
    • Template: Use the provided templates for your proposal.
    • Discussion: Post your proposal in the appropriate category on Discourse.
  3. Gathering Support:
    • Votes Needed: Proposals need 20 likes on Discours to move to Snapshot.
    • Time Limit: Proposals must gather 20 likes within 1 month.
  4. Archiving:
    • Automatic Archiving: If a proposal does not gather 20 likes in 1 month, it will be automatically archived.
  5. Moving to Snapshot:
    • Once a proposal gathers 50 votes, it will be reviewed by moderators and the $00 Foundation Board and then scheduled for voting on Snapshot.

Direct Submission by Council and Board

  • Council Members and Foundation Board: Can submit ZIPs directly to Snapshot without the need to submit them to Discourse
